SEPTEMBER IS CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

I think, a simpler way to rephrase this quote may be that "when one door closes, another opens." So many doors opened for me today, but all are overshadowed by the horrific news surrounding our Princess Emily. Doctors believe that in just 4 short weeks, she will earn her angel wings. And, earn them she will. Emmie was just 18 months old when she was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma. It reoccurred in Summer 2009, and again in May of 2010. It is unfathomable, even for me so enraptured in this cause, that childhood cancer will take another sweet life. I have witnessed death, and birth. Life is so mysterious. What is the "right" answer? I believe that the right answer lies within your heart. Precisely why I prefer the former of the 2 quotes losted above.
46 since children were diagnosed with cancer since I last wrote an entry in this blog. 1/3 will not survive. In their honor, I end this blog prematurely tonight.
